help for sellers

If you wish to sell concert or festival tickets at ticketola, please read the information on this page.

Do get in touch if you have any other questions about our ticket exchange. We guarantee a prompt response.

Do I have to be a member of ticketola to sell my tickets at the site?

Yes, you must complete the registration process prior to listing your tickets. It's easy and only takes a minute.

Do I have to be logged in to my account before listing my tickets?

Yes, you can only list your tickets via your ticketola account pages.

How many tickets can I list at any one time?

As a member of ticketola, you can list as many tickets as you like.

When can I list tickets for sale?

You can list your tickets at any time up to five days before the relevant concert or festival.

How do I create a listing?

Once you have logged in to your account, it’s quick and easy to list any tickets that you wish to sell. Once you have chosen the relevant category (Concerts or Festivals), you can then key in the relevant data, ie, city, venue, date, number of tickets, price etc and your listing will immediately appear on ticketola.

How long will my tickets remain in the listings?

When your tickets have been purchased, they will automatically be removed from the listings. If you are listing several tickets, but are willing to sell them individually, your listing will remain active until they have all been sold. Any remaining tickets are automatically removed from the listings three days before the relevant event. This is to ensure that there is always enough time for tickets to reach buyers.

How do I decide on the price of my tickets?

It is entirely up to you as to how much you decide to charge for your tickets. However, we advise you to be realistic in regard to pricing as over-priced tickets will simply not sell. If you want a quick sale, then don’t over-charge for your tickets.

Can I change the sale price of my tickets?

Yes, you can reduce or increase the price of your tickets at any time prior to their actual sale. If your tickets are slow to sell, it probably means that a reduction in price should be implemented.

What happens if I change my mind or my tickets sell elsewhere?

You must log in to your account and delete your listing immediately if you no longer wish to sell your tickets. If your listed tickets are purchased by another member, and you are unable or unwilling to deliver those tickets to the buyer, you will be liable for a sum which equates to 8% of the purchase price. This is to cover the transaction fees that ticketola is liable for on the original purchase, and the costs of transacting a refund to the buyer. As such, if your tickets have sold elsewhere, or you no longer wish to sell them, you must cancel the relevant listing immediately.

What happens when another member buys my tickets?

You will be alerted via the email address that you provided when you registered at ticketola. You must login to your account and confirm your acceptance of the sale within three working days. As soon as you have agreed to the sale, we will email you the shipping details of the buyer.

What happens to the listing when a buyer agrees to purchase my tickets?

As soon as another member agrees to buy your tickets, the listing for those tickets will be removed from view.

Can I change my mind after I have agreed to sell my tickets?

No, once you have confirmed your acceptance of the sale, you cannot then change your mind.

When should I ship my tickets to the buyer?

You should ensure that the buyer receives the tickets at the earliest possible opportunity.

How should I ship the tickets to the buyer?

Paper tickets should be sent via trackable (Recorded or Special Delivery) Royal Mail delivery if both you and the buyer are based in the UK, or by another trackable delivery provider, ie, Fed Ex, if either you or the buyer are based outside the UK. E-tickets should be emailed to the buyer in PDF format.

Should I provide the buyer with the delivery tracking code?

When you ship your tickets, you will be given a tracking code which enables you to track whether your tickets have reached their intended recipient. You should key this tracking code into the relevant box in your account pages. This enables ticketola’s staff to monitor the safe delivery of the tickets.

How much will I be charged for selling my tickets?

You will be charged a service fee of 8% (+VAT) of the value of the tickets that you have sold.

How will I be charged for your service fee?

The service fee will be deducted from the full amount of the sale price that we transfer to you.

How will I be paid when I sell my tickets?

You will be paid via PayPal - our preferred payment method.

When will I get paid?

You will be paid for your tickets 5 - 8 days after the event if the ticket was delivered successfully to the buyer.
